Speaker: Darian L. Butler, P.E.
Darian Butler is the Director of Engineering for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, working at the headquarters in Oklahoma City for the past 10 years. In his decade of service to the Authority, he has held positions such as Pre-Construction Engineer, Construction Engineer, and Project Engineer. Prior to this, he worked for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for 6 years, after completing the EIT program he worked permanently in the Bridge Division through 2007.
While in college, Darian worked for a private consulting firm and participated in multiple ODOT summer internships. This exposure to both state transportation agencies along with private consulting gives him a unique perspective in Oklahoma’s Transportation Industry.
Darian earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Oklahoma and is a Registered Professional Engineer. Darian and his wife, Sharla, have been married for 22 years, have 3 children ranging in age from 10 to 17, and are long term natives of the Choctaw area.
