OSPE: Design and Construction of a Hyperloop Ped

Speaker – Robert Leland,

Robert Leland was born in New York City. He studied Computer Science at MIT as an undergraduate, and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UCLA.  He has taught engineering at the University of Minnesota, University of Alabama and Oral Roberts University.  He has conducted research in atmospheric optics, random processes, control of flexible structures, fuzzy logic, MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) and engineering education.  He served as Faculty Advisor for Team Codex, the ORU team in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition.  He is very excited about encouraging ORU students to use their engineering expertise in local outreach and missions.
