Announcing a NEW PARTNERSHIP (March 2012)

To help meet the educational training needs and professional development requirements of engineers in our region, TU’s Continuing Engineering & Science Education Department  has joined with Auburn University’s Engineering Continuing Education Department to expand our offering of engineering courses available on DVD. We have selected their most popular courses in the disciplines of:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Structural Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Surveying
  • Management, Ethics and Legal

DVD Courses, currently available, through this partnership:

HOW THIS WORKS:

  • Register for the DVD course of your choice.
  • You will receive an automatic notice from The University of Tulsa’s CESE Department  when we receive your enrollment.
  • You will receive another confirmation of enrollment from Auburn University with more pertinent information regarding this particular course.
  • Courses are  available on DVD-R.  Workbook and supporting materials will be shipped to you in 5-7 business days along with the DVD-Rs.
  • Exams can be taken online with immediate scores or by mail.
  • A University of Tulsa and Auburn University Certificate of Completion will be mailed to you for your records.  Completion date on the certificate will be the date you complete the exam online or the postmark date the exam is mailed to Auburn University for grading.
  • To earn CEUs, you must submit your exam within two years from the original date of purchase.
  • To pass, you must answer 70% of the questions correctly for engineers and land surveyors and 80% for architects.

We work hard to comply with each state’s rules.  However, you must select courses appropriate to your license needs.  The final responsibility rests on your judgment.  To learn more about these requirements, contact your state board.
