ASCE: Economic Development for the City of Tulsa

Michelle Barnett is the Deputy Chief of Economic Development for the City of Tulsa. She has held the position since March of 2018. Before being named Deputy Chief, she worked for the City of Tulsa Engineering Services Department for two years as the Brownsfields Director. Several popular destinations throughout Tulsa were former brownfield sites, including: the BOK Center, ONEOK Field, Guthrie Green, and many more. Michelle holds a Master and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. She has experience in brownfield development, business development, redevelopment finance, and engineering infrastructure.
