OSPE: The Tulsa Engineering Challenge

Speaker:           Jennifer Butler, PE, Manager of Civil/Structural Engineering at QPS          The Tulsa Engineering Challenge (TECh) promotes our youth’s interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) studies and careers with an annual challenge event featuring engineering design based competitions and exhibits. The 2020 Tulsa Engineering Challenge will be held on March 6, 2020 at the Tulsa Tech Riverside Campus. TECh is a hands-on opportunity for youth 4th – 12th grades to explore problem-solving, designing and construction of devices that accomplish tasks.

Jennifer graduated from Oklahoma State University with BS and MS degrees in Civil Engineering She is currently the Systems Development Coordinator at QPSE in Tulsa.  Jennifer is active in the Tulsa Engineering Foundation and is the treasurer for the Oklahoma State Section of ASCE.  She has been the chair of the Tulsa Engineering Challenge for 5 years and likes to participate in STEM activities.  This year’s theme for the Tulsa Engineering Challenge is “Pioneers of Change”.
