Presentation by Stantec and Garver. This presentation will cover the NEPA (environmental) work that was performed for the construction of the Gilcrease Expressway. During construction, an archaeological site was discovered. The site researchers collected nearly 9,000 artifacts/cultural items dating to the Woodland Period. This project presented several challenges that required creative solutions.
- Mapco Building 1st Floor, go straight through the main doors, past the elevators, and the room will be on the right. If you enter through the parking garage (north side), there is an elevator that can take you to the first floor.
- Parking is a “short” distance away from the building. The building owner requests that we park in the two highlighted areas as the main lots are typically full.
