About TEF

Tulsa Engineering Foundation is a foundation of engineering societies and universities/colleges, formed to assist in coordinating activities and services for the member societies and to promote science, math and engineering in the community.

It is a not-for-profit charitable organization, with the mission of serving the engineering profession and offering career guidance activities to our youth.

Currently nineteen engineering/technical organizations are members as well as five universities and colleges.

Educational outreach activities are the premier functions, including the founding and sponsoring of the annual Tulsa Engineering Challenge (TECh), and more recently aiding the regional MATHCOUNTS competition and initiating a Project Grant program.  A continual fund raising campaign raises $6,000 to $10,000 annually through donations from foundations, businesses, individuals and member organizations to supplement the dues income and other fund raising activities.

Member organizations include  ACIAIChE, AISES, APWA, ASCE, ASHRAE, ASME, AWS, CSI, EST, IEEE, ISA, NSBE, OSPE, SAME,  SHPE, SME, SPE, and SWE as well as TU, ORU, OSU-Tulsa,  TCC, and Tulsa Tech.
