Tulsa Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME)

The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) builds leaders and leads collaboration among government and industry to develop multi-disciplined solutions to national security infrastructure challenges. Founded in 1920, the Society unites public and private sector individuals and organizations from across the architecture, engineering, construction, environmental and facility management, cyber security, project planning, contracting and acquisition, and related disciplines in support of national security.

Mission: The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), the premier professional military engineering association in the United States, unites architecture, engineering, construction (A/E/C), facility management and environmental entities and individuals in the public and private sectors to prepare for—and overcome—natural and manmade disasters, and to improve security at home and abroad.

The Society has over 27,000 members and 3,400 corporate affiliates throughout the world. SAME has 160 local chapters in major cities and military installations in the United States and abroad, and another 70 student chapters at our Nation’s engineering colleges and universities. The Tulsa Post has over 240 members and approximately 45 affiliated sustaining members.
