Tulsa Foundation for Architecture would like to invite Tulsa Engineering Foundation to explore the Mid-Continent Tower from the bottom up! Network with local engineering professionals while getting a behind the scenes private tour of real engineering problems and solutions for a historic building in downtown Tulsa!!
Architect Ted Reeds will introduce us to a cocktail of his invention and then, with Engineer Tom Wallace and Tour Guide Ellen Stanley, explore the evolution of this extraordinary building. (Did you know it is actually TWO separate buildings?!)Participants can question, comment and discuss along the way.Sit back, relax and tour some areas you’ve likely never had access to before!
