Tulsa Engineering Challenge (TECh)

The Tulsa Engineering Challenge is a hands-on opportunity for youth to explore problem solving, designing and construction of devices that accomplish tasks.  It is open to 4th – 12 graders.

Students compete in activities such as Toothpick Bridge, Rubber-Band Powered Vehicle, Ping-Pong Ball Launcher, Robot, Chemical Switch, Electric Motor, Paper Airplane Distance and Duration, Wacky Wonder Works, Aluminum Boat, Extreme Engineering Challenge, Digital Poster, Mini-Math Challenge, and Academic Olympiad.  Host organizations are AIChE, ASCE, ASME, AWS, IEEE, OSPE, SAME, SME, SWE, as well as several companies.

Registration for students closed on March 1, 2024.  Consider stopping by to see what’s it all about and participate in 2025.
