ASHRAE: Annual Research Promotion Auction

It’s a big, Big, BIG meeting in February! We have our annual auction AND we have the Society President joining us. This is an evening meeting so bring your significant other for the fun on February 6, at 5:30p. We meet at Tulsa Country Club, 701 N. Union Ave. Cost is just $25 each.
Sheila Hayter, ASHRAE Society President for the 2018-2019 term, will be joining us for dinner and the fun. Sheila has a long resume listing her involvement with ASHRAE. Her theme this year is “Building Our New Energy Future.” She has been employed at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado since 1992, managing technical teams involved in research and focusing on integration of energy technologies. Sheila is a dynamic speaker and is listed as one of ASHRAE’s Distinguished Lecturers.
Cocktail hour begins at 5:30, with opportunity to review (and win!) silent auction items. There will be a Wine Pull, available until the bottles are gone. Dinner begins at 6:30, President Hayter will offer a few words prior to the start of the auction, then Jay Litchfield graciously joins us again this year for fun and fund-raising. This is our annual efforts to raise money for ASHRAE research; NEOK chapter has historically been generous in this area. Look for emails listing items available for auction – always great stuff!
